“There is a natural source of radiance and brilliance in the world which is the innate wakefulness of human beings – if we open our eyes, if we open our minds, if we open our hearts, we will find that the world is a magical place”, “Shambhala – Sacred Path of the Warrior”, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Level 1 offers both a good introduction for complete beginners to meditation and a fresh inspiration for those who may already have some experience of meditation within their own spiritual tradition"
The Way of Shambhala
The Way of Shambhala offers a structured path of meditation and complete introduction to the foundations of Shambhala Buddhism. Suitable for both beginning and experienced meditators, and open to people of any spiritual tradition, this series of weekends and classes provide a strong foundation in mindfulness-awareness meditation practice, wisdom teachings, and physical practices rooted in the ancient traditions of Shambhala and Tibetan Buddhism.
This first weekend workshop is entitled The Art of Being Human. Through the practice of meditation, we glimpse unconditional goodness as the ground of our existence. Opening to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation, we begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.
