The Druk Sakyong’s Presentation of Ground and Path Mahamudra
Practice and Study of the Kagyu Mahamudra: First of a Series
A review of our training from the Vidyadhara in ground and path mahamudra, as a foundation for study of the Khenpo Tsultim's and the Ninth Karmapa's expositions.
"The quintessence of the … countless teaching of the buddhas is that the wisdom essence … is present as the nature of sentient beings. Among all the different kinds of teaching is one that is the most eminent, the shortest path, the ultimate meaning… Mahamudra is the supreme method that directly and easily reveals the natural face of the mind in which the three kayas are spontaneously present."

Introducing a Series of Presentations on practice and study of Mahamudra.
Practice of mahamudra does not mainly require scholarly study, instead it requires strong devotion to the lineage of realization and confidence to look at our mind and experience in its nakedness. Yet study is extremely helpful to gain confidence in the guidance instructions of the Kagyu siddhas.
In addition to the main presentation, we will introduce a suggested program of practice and study that can be pursued at local centers. We will support this program with an ongoing series of online presentations, every other month.
We will follow the reknowned exposition by the Ninth Karmapa, augmented by perspectives form the Vidydhara, Thrangu Rinpoche, and Khenpo Tsultrim.
PREREQUISITE: Open to all Shambhala Tantrikas.
NOTE: This session starts with Dharma Sagara Guru Yoga.
