Many of us tend to have a rather ambivalent relationship with space. We either long for more space (feeling overwhelmed and claustrophobic) or we are threatened by it, (dreading boredom and loneliness). “Doing nothing” and “just being” are usually not very high priorities on most people’s agenda, nor are they rewarded by society at large. Shambhala culture values space. It recognizes that space is both all around us and is ever-present, always available, elusive - and within us. Can we learn to recognize and enjoy the spacious quality of our life and celebrate the continually arising gaps? Is space really that empty? Can we find space even in the midst of chaos and intensity? Join us in this playful exploration!
