Summer provides festivity, and life is worth living. from poem, Season’s Greetings, CTR Life is worth living, are four words we might choose to say several times a day, especially in these times, when there is so much pain and sadness being experienced in the world. We fortunate ones who have the freedom to say, life is worth living, let it sink in, let us enjoy how fortunate we are…Mid Summer Shambhala Sunday Gathering is on June 19th celebrating in the Northern Hemisphere the summer solstice and the longest day of the year. Midsummer’s Day is one of Shambhala’s four annual holidays, (along with Shambhala Day, Harvest of Peace, and Children’s Day). During the last two years we found new ways to celebrate this special day as a community, being in our homes…This year, emerging from the pandemic, we are able to celebrate , in three ways, from our homes, safely gathering with friends in community, and globally online for one hour Sunday June 19th. Join the global call, as we festively celebrate our lives outdoors! Lhasang, poetry , gardens, play games, enjoy the rivers and streams nearby, toast marshmallows, sing and dance with friends and family. And a scavenger hunt for the blue nosed macaroon… What is that? Find out when you come to the Sunday Gathering, June 19th… yup it is Father’s Day too!!! Please join us as we celebrate this life that is worth living…a family friendly event.
