Join Host Herb Elsky in Conversation with  Miksang artist and Photographer, Hèlen Vink! 

Hèlen Vink teaches Miksang Photography retreats and programs in the Netherlands, Spain and further Europe since 2009. 

She entered Shambhala through a Dharma Arts program with Herb Elsky in 1997 and joined a 10-day Dharma Art Festival in Dechen Chöling shortly after, with Dharma Art, calligraphy, Mudra Space Awareness and Kyudo. 

Hèlen met Sakyong Mipham in 2000, lived at Dechen Chöling from 2000-2002, and at Shambhala Mountain Center from 2002-2003, studying with Sakyong Mipham and Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche.

From 2004-2009 she held a position as Nalanda coordinator at the Shambhala Amsterdam Board. In 2006 Hèlen met Michael Wood while being the coordinator of the first Miksang program in Europe, in Cologne. Since 2009 she has been teaching full-time Miksang Photography in the Netherlands and Europe.
