Nothing seems more important in these times than understanding and practicing what Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche called Enlightened Society. In celebrating his Parinirvana 36 years ago we want to connect with his wisdom and magic of creating awakened and uplifting spaces. What is radical new and profound in his approach to society? How to create and manifest this in our lives? We want to explore his call to develop as a wise, kind and strong community and society. Let us create together a trustworthy space, in which everybody is perfect. Now is the dawn of Enlightened Society.
About the Teacher
Peter Nowak met Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in 1985, the first time, and attended the last Seminary he was teaching in 1986. He has three grown up children and works in the Austrian Public Health institute as a department head. Developing strategic initiatives in close collaboration with the Austrian Ministry of Health he has a wonderful practice ground on creating good society – with and without success. Peter had many roles in his home Shambhala Center in Vienna, Austria, has been on the Board of Shambhala Global since May 2020 and is part of the Shambhala Europe Advisory Board.
