Allée Smith est un ministre bouddhiste ordonné de la Religion(Upadhyaya) dans la lignée Shambhala. She serves as a Chaplain at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Etats-Unis. Elle détient également des préceptes du bouddhisme zen. Alley est un ancien combattant de l'armée américaine. Elle se spécialise dans les soins spirituels, affaires mortuaires et en tant que clergé funéraire. Alley étudie le bouddhisme Shambhala et le Zen depuis 1999.
