Join Meli-Tashi Happy and Chaplain Alley Smith in a conversation about relating with death and dying in fields of spiritual care. en esta sesión, we will explore end-of-life care planning, coordination, bereavement, resilience, and sustainable compassion.

Sobre los profesores

Meli-Tashi feliz is the End-of-Life Coordinator for Seattle Shambhala Center, a death doula, and somatic educator. Her Buddhist path began in 1997 in the Zen tradition, y en 2007 she found the Shambhala teachings. She’s taken Refuge and Bodhisattva Vows, and is a devoted Vajrayana student. She helps foster ‘community death careeducation and connections.

Rev. Callejón Smith (Ella ella) is an ordained Shambhala Buddhist Minister of Religion (Upadhyaya) at Brown University. She also holds 10 precepts in Korean Zen Buddhism. Alley es un veterano de guerra militar de EE. UU.. Durante su carrera, Alley served with the military funeral honors teams in the US Marine Corps and Navy Reserve. She specializes in teaching Buddhism, spiritual care, asuntos mortuorios y como clérigo funerario. Alley is deeply influenced by Pure Land, Shin Buddhism, y Vajrayana.
