In late February, Shastri Trinley Busby hosted conversations with shastris who wanted to learn more about and discuss the allegations of harm and sexual abuse that have been discussed on FaceBook and other social media. These discussions have been prompted by the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, as well as the Project Sunshine report by Andrea Winn.
Shastri Busby is one of several people working with the Shambhala Office of Social Engagement to host conversations on these topics. Shastris were invited by their regional leaders via email, and the information was posted in the discussion area of this course.
